A complete 10 hours kiteboarding course at Mayapo beach or in Riohacha by Eoletto will need 3-4 days.
What can a student learn in 10h Kite lessons?
Didactics: The first hour will be happen on land, and you learn the basic safety sistems, wind theory, the wind window, launching and landing the kite. The next nine hours happens in the water and you have contact with the teacher trough a helmet with walkie talkie, and learn: kite control -fly and stear the kite-, bodydraging, self rescue, power strokes, board rescue, waterstart, go on board and follow the kite, kite right and left direction. To finish the course you have a speach with your private instructor and learn the basic rights of way useful in your kiter life.

The gear to learn
Kite, bar, board, harness (seat or waist), safety leach, helmet with radio and bouyancy help.
Recommendations
Certanly you should wear a rashguard with UV protection and sunscream to protect your skin against the desert sun. The glasses are comfortable for the students, use them; people lose often glasses in the water, therefore we recommend wearing a band or buying cheap glasses.
Bringing a bottella of water and some snacks to the kite sections is a good idea. The meals in Mayapo take time to be prepared. You can put your breverage in our beach cooler.
